This sweet Houston wedding sent in by Smith House Photography does a great job using a pop of a bright color against a mostly white background. The reception venue for this wedding is a beautiful sea of white, and the bright splashes of dark blue on the tables and on the sides of the cake add a bit of personality. The groom's blue handkerchief and poppies in the bride's bouquet, which have dark centers surrounded by white petals, have the same dramatic and fun effect. The signs down the aisle of the ceremony with lyrics from a song are a unique feature that was also a surprise from the bride to her groom. What a great idea! From Smith House Photography...Despite all day thunderstorms (and I do mean downpours!) Sarah and Jay's wedding was absolutely gorgeous! We took the very few minutes in between the rain to take a few outdoor portraits after the ceremony, and spent the rest of the day utilizing the gorgeous interior at Ashton Gardens to capture the beautiful details, as well as bride and groom portraits!
