This rustic winter Aubrey styled shoot from Paisley Layne Photography just warms my heart. The bride's dress is a true stunner with layer upon layers of billowing fabric. The accessories, including a fur stole and a beaded headband, all work together for this beautiful bride. These photos may be from a barn, but there is a touch of elegance in these photos as well. Plaid fabric, burlap, pine cones, and slices of tree stumps are all used in a stylish and classic way that embraces the season and the venue without losing the formality of the occasion. I'm also a fan of the simple white cake dressed up with berries, rosemary sprigs, and cinnamon sticks. Count me in for a slice of that cake! From Paisley Layne Photography...Katie and Frankie are one of the sweetest couples you have ever met. They got engaged last fall but both being teachers they decided to opt out of  having a traditional wedding ceremony and reception. They wanted to use the money they would spend on a wedding as a down payment toward a house instead. Knowing that they were not planning to have a wedding, I thought they would make the perfect couple to model for my winter wedding styled photo shoot I was planning. This would give them the "wedding" and "wedding photos" they wouldn't get by eloping. We started with the venue. I knew I wanted something cozy and rustic but with a touch of style and class. I found BonTerra Farm and knew it was perfect! The vintage cottage, rustic barn, and surrounding woods were a perfect settings for the vision I had in mind. I partnered with local vendors to create the final look, and we spent a gorgeous afternoon capturing the wedding that Katie and Frankie wouldn't otherwise get to have.
