In Texas, we definitely love a rustic yet sophisticated wedding.  Shelly Taylor decided to gather some of Waco's finest vendors and display how to pull off rustic, chic elegance in this lush romantic styled wedding shoot.  Included in this stellar cast of vendors is a new edition-the Vintage Oaks Ranch.  Nestled in a grove of oak trees on 130 acres, this new venue provided the perfect backdrop to Shelly's shabby chic vision.  Check out the gallery for more goodness.

From Shelly Taylor...Before the Vintage Oaks Ranch venue had even opened, Giselle Callahan of Vivid Events planned a gorgeous shoot with lush details and inspiration from the venue's ranch locale. The stunning views and expansive vistas of the multi-acre ranch inspired a gorgeous vintage scene for the event. The vintage truck and barn details of the venue's reception hall inspired a gorgeous palette of punchy spring and summer florals, perfect for any season. Lovely Leaves' arrangements were bold and colorful, and the lace gown from Georgio's was delicate and detailed. Mismatched china place settings, vintage amber goblets, silver tea pots, and vintage furniture from Swoon Vintage Rentals perfectly rounded out the rustic elegance of the setting under the oak trees. All Sugar'd Up decorated a beautiful cake for a rustic setting with textures and details, highlighted by more of the beautiful florals. Studio W Designs created the perfect floral stationery for the rustic spring event, and the signature drink is a watermelon habanero punch mixed with vodka. Our groom model, Kai Evans, and his twin brother, Richard, along with Whitney Zipperlan and Victoria Taylor, were perfect for our event style.
