This lovely engagement shoot was sent in by Blue Scope Photography. This couple is clearly in love and extremely comfortable in each other's arms. There are a variety of great poses in these photos that don't look overly staged. A photographer's job is to make sure their subjects are relaxed and having fun-and this couple definitely looks like they are having a great time. Choosing a location like the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens gives the photographer a variety of gorgeous backgrounds to choose from. Mixing up wide shots and close up shots of the couple and framing shots around tree branches and water reflections makes sure that the bride and groom-to-be have a variety of photos to cherish for years to come. From Blue Scope Photography...Let's meet Nicole and Andrew!! These two met while in college. A casual set up from roommates led to these two lovebirds taking their friendship to something a little more than just casual. Since then, these two have been inseparable and their beautiful engagement tells their love story. We met at the Dallas Arboretum Botanical Gardens for their lovely engagement session. It was a cold chilly 30-degree morning but you got no complaints from anyone, especially since Nicole was wearing a dress. If she could tough it out then everyone else sure was going to toughen it out as well. As we were walking around the gorgeous scenery, I simply asked them if there was a particular area at the Arboretum that they wanted to make sure was included in their engagement photos. Nicole simply replied, "Do your thing. We trust you and know you're going to knock it out the park." So with that vote of confidence, I took their trust and told their love story. In reality, they did all the work because I just directed them to be themselves and their love will be on display. Congratulations to Nicole and Andrew, I know your wedding this May will be amazing!
