From Rachel Lynn Photography...When you think of the two concepts separately, gardens and industry don't seem to mix. But it was this unexpected juxtaposition of dainty and urban that inspired this industrial garden party wedding. First off--the venue! Nestled in the heart of the Montrose area of Houston, this gem of a bar and bistro was renovated from a historical building and turned into the hip hangout that it is today. It was this unique space that crafted the perfect location for the theme. S'wonderful Soirées, the talented coordinator and stylist for the shoot, brought a lot of talented vendors together to bring her concepts to life. Rich and romantic tones of deep wine, ivory, and gold--along with pops of dusty rose--made a nice pairing with the antique metal and glass of the venue. The head table made a real statement with a romantic designs and candles, delicate sprawling greenery, and adorable cupcakes in place of place cards (brides need to steal this idea immediately because who doesn't love immediately accessible CUPCAKES at a wedding)! The floral arrangements by A's Floral Designs were particularly striking with ivy and golden hanging amaranthus. All in all, this shoot was so fun to be a part of and I hope brides glean some fabulous inspiration from it!
