Aren't fur babies the greatest?! This super cute couple brought their equally cute dogs to their Houston Zoo engagement shoot and it could not put a bigger smile on my face. First, let's talk about those super adorable save-the-date signs! I am sure the couple used these photographs for their official save-the-date announcements. And I love the idea of going back to the site of your engagement to take your official engagement pictures. If you weren't able to photograph the actual moment, holding your engagement photos in the same venue will provide memories you can cherish for a lifetime. From Jessica Pledger Photography...When Madison planned his proposal to Emily, he knew exactly where to do it. He didn't choose one of those common spots like on an international beach or on the big screen at a sports game, but he picked a place he knew Emily would love. Emily has always loved animals, from the two little dogs her and Madison own together to her very favorite animal, the giraffe. That is why Madison proposed to Emily at the Houston Zoo in front of the giraffes. Emily loved it. Emily even volunteers at the zoo and plans to make working with animals part of her life-long career. As a fellow animal lover, I encouraged them to plan their engagement session at the zoo where we could walk around and take photos with the giraffes, around the big beautiful oak trees, and maybe even with my favorite animal, the elephant. I loved how the session turned out. It was a beautiful day, and we even captured a gorgeous sunset to finish off the session.
