From Fête & Frivolity Events...One of the greatest challenges couples face when planning a wedding is finding that perfect blend of the traditional and the modern. Deciding which traditions to incorporate, which ones to bend, and which ones to leave behind in search of that perfect flow that fits them and them alone is a delicate balance. But Amanda and Peter managed to turn it into an artform with every element of their big day. Their love story and courtship was a beautiful blend of traditional values in a modern world. And so it felt only appropriate that this was carried into the gorgeous details that made up their wedding day. The bride walked down the aisle and toward their family's future with her son in a ceremony that misted up even our team's eyes. She had her catering team incorporate a candy bar into the reception just for him and the other little guests. From the incorporation of a vintage seating vignett, to the thoughtfully decked out kids area, this couple pulled out all the stops to delight their guests and create a fun and memorable evening. Amanda satisfied her need to DIY by creating gorgeous bar signs, seating charts, hand-lettered escort cards, and an invitation suite to die for! Beginning to end this wedding was perfectly personalized for the family of three it celebrated - and that made it one of our favorite weddings we've ever been a part of.
