A garden themed Waco wedding held at the groom's family home...talk about perfection.  This wedding is a great example of how you pull off rustic, backyard chic!  I also adore how this couple incorporated so many family elements into their celebratory affair.  Just think of how happy it made the groom's family to see the bride walking down the aisle in the groom's maternal grandmother's dress!  Shelly Taylor has wowed us again with her amazing photography skills!  The gallery has even more home-spun goodness.

From Shelly Taylor...Kyle and Jiyoung planned their wedding ceremony together and decided Kyle's family home on Salado Creek was the perfect location. Jiyoung and Kyle planned a garden party style event with Giselle Callahan of Vivid Events and focused on soft florals in hues of pinks and lavender with Lovely Leaves. The ceremony arbor was covered with florals. The couple also planned the lighting with Confetti Rentals to create a warm glow for the evening celebration, and the rustic bar made from wine barrels and rustic boards served their guests the couples' favorite wines. The birchwood table numbers and glowing candles added more natural warmth to the occasion. Wearing Kyle's maternal grandmother's wedding gown from 1949, Jiyoung wore a floral headpiece to highlight the romantic lace gown. Jiyoung and Kyle had a private moment before the ceremony to read each other letters they wrote especially for that day. Jiyoung created a handmade welcome sign for guests, and Kyle's brother was the officiant. As the sunset blazed over the creek, they read their personalized vows to each other.
