Another day, another Aggie love story! These two Texas A&M lovebirds got married in this Camp Lucy Austin wedding. Shot by the fabulous Jennifer Weems, it is everything a Texas girl dreams of--country, chic and filled to the brim with pink! The bride's elegant lace dress and veil are the perfect complement to the rustic surroundings of the Camp Lucy grounds. From Jennifer Weems Photography...Sam and Jennifer had their beautiful hill country wedding at Camp Lucy, Sacred Oaks. Leading up to this point I've really come to love these two. I had so much fun shooting their engagement session and Jennifer's bridal session, I knew their wedding would be pretty great. The weather, of course, decided to give everyone a scare. As things turned out, it never really rained, but it was pretty cold. Despite the cold and wind, they pushed forward with their outdoor ceremony plans. Jennifer decided on a beautiful pink and coral color palette for her bridesmaid dresses, and the groomsmen wore a complementary grey suit. The men's boutonnieres gave a nod to their golf theme with golf tees mixed with flowers. Since the wedding started at sunset, we decided to do a first look and the majority of photos before the ceremony. At this point I'd like to point out why everyone should do a first look. I mean, really, look at those pictures of Sam getting so emotional at seeing his beautiful bride for the first time. If that does not convince you, I don't know what will. Sam was also a great example of a groom who proved that just because he spent time with his bride earlier, he still got choked up when he saw his bride walk down the aisle with her daddy. The wedding ceremony was touching and sweet under the large oak tree. As the sun set, we snuck a couple photos under the lights of their ceremony spot. The reception was a fun evening of dancing and spending time with family. I was so honored to be a part of their love story.
